Username
In order to become a member of Death Notes you must first select a username. This will be your unique identification that people will know you as on all of our website features. Please make sure you pick the one you want as you can not change it later.
Password
Please enter a password you wish to use to login to your account. Passwords must be between three and sixteen characters and are cAsE sEnSiTiVe.
Email Address
To become a member of Death Notes we require a valid e-mail address. This is so we can contact you if necessary. Death Notes will never share your e-mail address with other groups, and if selected your e-mail address will be kept private to all members except for Administrators. Note that you will only be able to register once per e-mail address.
Full Name
We ask, as a courtesy, that you give us your real name (given name(s)). We like to get to know our members, so whenever an Administrator contacts you they can address you by your real name rather then a username. If you choose, your real name can be hidden from all members except for Administrators.
Gender
Please select which gender you are of, so when other members interact with you and refer to you, they are able to do so correctly without any mistakes. This information will be readily available and appear in statistic charts on our website.
Date of Birth
We require that you give an accurate Date of Birth to register at Death Notes. This is to comply with COPPA standards, if you state that you are under the age of 13 you will, unfortunately, not be permitted to join as a member of Death Notes.
Country of Residence
Please tell us what country you are from! We have interesting statistics pages with details about our members as a whole. Please help us out by selecting what Country you are currently residing in.
Time Zone
All timestamps displayed on the forums can be automatically corrected to show the correct time for your location in the world. Simply select the appropriate time zone from the listed.
Daylight Savings Time
In addition, you may set the appropriate option to allow for daylight savings time in your part of the world.
